DERRINGER CL Hawaya Racing introduces a new middle weight contender in their Derringer line of racing engines. Hawaya Racing now has a new racing engine case assembly specifically designed for the P/F class of bikes, The “Derringer CL” (150). “We designed this new engine to specifically fit the Pro Fuel, 150 cubic inch class of bikes. I don’t believe in a “one engine fits all” type of scenario. This new engine case assembly is a direct replacement for the earlier Overkill and PRP cases. It takes the same crankshaft, rods, and crankshaft bearings as these engines and will bolt directly into those motor plates with no modifications. Our new case assembly is 5 pounds lighter than the Overkill cases. If you use our pork chop style crankshaft, that would be an additional 3 pound weight savings. says Johnny. Jerry Gordon and I have had this engine in our brains for a couple of years now and we finally were able to make it a reality.” The first engine is now being installed into one of our newly designed Weekend P/F Chassis. Working closely with John Storace as we have for over 20 years, we pounded out a totally new design for this Pro Fuel bike. Our goal is to have the bike complete in time for the AHDRA season opener in Florida. The Derringer CL engine cases are in stock and ready to ship. We have priced the case assembly at $4,200.00 USD. This includes the engine cases, left and right hand crank bearing carriers, cam chest, cam cover and oil pan and lifter blocks. Contact www.hawayaracing.com for more information Phone 336-973-5078 |
