2011 Hawaya Racing introduces their Derringer CL Nitro engine designed for the Pro Fuel class. Johnny Vickers sets new 1/8th national mile record at No Problem Raceway @ 4.525. Nitro School bike 1 & 2 go to the finals in the AHDRA finals at Rockingham NC. Mark Cox on schooll bike #1 sets the 1/8th mile national record at 4.512 and also ran the quickest run ever on a P/D @ 7.09 seconds. Johnny Vickers on board the #1 Nitro school bike officially becomes the fastest man on the planet running a 7.128 at the Manufacturers Cup race held at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, GA. 2010 Hawaya Racing, Inc. sponsors AHDRA Pro Dragster class for the 2010 season. Hawaya Racing built Derringer powered Pro Dragsters finish #1 - #2 - #3 in AHDRA national points. Rocky Jackson finishes #1. Bill Purvis tuned by Johnny Vickers finishes #2 and Mike Nolen finished #3. Hawaya Racing Inc. holds the worlds first ever Nitro Bike school at Rockingham Dragway to great reviews. 2009 Mike Nolen sets new AMRA 1/8th mile E.T. record of 4.577 @ 156.29 MPH on his way to his second consecutive AMRA Pro Fuel National Championship on his Hawaya Racing Derringer Powered Fueler. . 2008 -Builder and Tuner for Mike Nolan, who achieved the AMRA Pro Fuel National Championship as well as setting two National ET records on his Derringer powered Pro Fuel/ Pro Dragster. -Builder and Tuner for Mark Blackmer, who achieved his second straight AMRA Top Fuel National Championship and his fourth Championship overall, on his High Gear Nitro Harley. 2007 -Crew Chief for Mark Blackmer’s Hurricane Racing, AMRA National NitroFunny Bike Champion-Builder and Tuner for Philip Matlock, who achieved the AMRA Pro Fuel National Championship in his Rookie year on his Derringer powered Pro Fuel/ Pro Dragster. -Builder and Tuner for Mark Blackmer, who achieved the AMRA Top Fuel National Championship on his High Gear Nitro Harley. 2006 - Crew Chief for Mark Blackmer’s Hurricane Racing, AMRA National NitroFunny Bike Champion 2005 - Crew Chief for Mark Blackmer’s Hurricane Racing, AMRA National ProFuel Champion 2002 - Crew Chief for Mark Cox Racing, IHRA National event winner |
