Former NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champion, Michael Ray riding the HRP Terminater take the number one qualifying spot, run the fastest ET a Pro Fuel bike has ever run and win the event this past weekend. In the first round of qualifying, Michael ran a 7.063 at over 179 MPH to take the #1 qualifying spot away from Kirby Apathy who ran an outstanding 7.07 just prior to Michael. Michael would go on the win the event. Tyler Wilson aboard his HRP built Pro Fueler took the Pro Fuel Championship beating out last years Champion, Rocky Jackson. 2015 and 2016 NHRA Pro Fuel Champion, Janette Thornley qualified #3 and went several rounds.
