HRP had a great weekend this past weekend at the season opener for the Manufacturers Cup Drag Racing series. The field was short, but the performance was outstanding. Michael Ray on the Terminater with Johnny Vickers turning the screws, blew the world record in the weeds, running a best of 7.011 ET to better the old record held by Kirby Apathy of 7.07. Kirby could not make the race and was truly missed in the competition. Preston Bartlett on his new Gen-4 Derringer co-owned by Walter Halonski had a great start to their season making it to the finals to meet up with Michael in an all HRP, all Gen-4 Derringer final. Michael came out on top running the 3 quickest passes ever made on a Pro Fuel Harley in the same weekend.
