At the end of the 2016 season, Richard Landis and his crew paid us a visit to discuss a new HRP designed and fabricated chassis. Richard and I came up with the specs and Pete Browne laid out and welded up the chassis in his normal “machine like” fashion. Well, that chassis is now a reality! It will house a Methanol burning PRP on the juice, coupled to a Baby B&J 3-speed trany. I won’t let out to many details, but this chassis has the longest crankshaft to rear axle we have ever built. This is manly due to the kind of drag racing that Richard plans to do, 500 feet, no wheelie bar, on asphalt! We designed the chassis to accept a HRP 13″ rear wheel and MT tire to get this thing hooked up and moving in a hurry.
